The 475 models have many features such as expression slides with thumb hook and adjustable ring with stop (TH series), feather light valves with a special Stainless Steel alloy and Taper bore mouthpipe, only found on instruments costing much more.

New construction of the body for improved response, articulation and intonation.
New tapper flow of the mouthpipe improves the instrument's blowing performance and makes it easier to articulate difficult passages. Modern look - New design of the bottom and top caps, finger buttons, forged plates and braces give the instrument a very attractive look. Smooth light weight piston action - Finer work of piston valves and valve casings and the use of a new special non-corrosive nickel alloy ensure an extremely quick, light weight, smooth piston action.
