The RKA Steltz trumpets valve assembly have an excellent quality nickel plated (or Monel) light weight precision valve action, excellent fit of all the tuning slides including a 1st valve expression slide with thumb hook, adjustable 3rd valve expression slide ring with adjustable stop, both expression slides have cushion bumpers for silent slide action, properly designed 7C mouthpiece, excellent quality finish, very nice deluxe hard case and most important of all excellent ease of playing performance, note centering and tone. Over all We've found The RKA Steltz. trumpets to be more than a cut above the average heavily advertised "Name Brand" instruments which are priced considerably higher.
