1x15 Stackable Sub Bass Cabinet AMX-115K
The cabinets have many great features; a reinforced cabinet structure which cuts down unwanted harsh resonance, recessed double 1/4" input/output jacks that protect the speaker connection and allows daisy chaining of additional cabinets, heavy duty recessed steel handles for exceptional durability and heavy gauge steel grill to protect the driver from "accidents". For professional appearance and durability, the cabinet is protected with a high-grade road worthy charcoal carpet that will last for years. The cabinet has interlocking ABS corners for stacking the 4x10 on top of it.
The 1x15 or 1x18 sub-bass cabinet has a powerhouse of a driver, 4" high temperature voice coil on a Kapton former and a massive 100 oz magnet for a total of over 15 lbs of magnet structure in a cast aluminum frame. The power rating is a very respectable 400/800 Watts RMS/Peak. The 15" sub-bass cabinet has a studio reference grade "Linear Phase" 500 watt RMS 12 dB/oct 100 Hz Feron bobbin high "Q" crossover network to feed the 4x10 when used as a "stack." A 1/4" to 1/4" jumper cable is provided for the crossover connection. Speakon connectors and cables are available for a modest price special order. A revolutionary new "Powermax 1" speaker protection system allows the cabinet to keep playing at a slightly reduced volume level without distortion even during a gross overload condition. This new protection system will help to avoid having to re-cone or replace speakers after a major overload.
